JC Watch

Long rumored. Can't wait.

To be honest they look a little cheaply made, BUT that would work if they were <$20 (I would buy two)

Just saw the email and it totally reminds me of the OG Swatch X watch... can't wait!!!

definitely very basic, and I agree, rather cheap looking (for a watch)
But I've become accustomed to rather nice watches..
These are just extremely casual, maybe in the future JC will collab. w/a nice watchmaker.. wishful thinking!
These seam like a good, casual, everyday, 'beater' kind of watch for me.. will prob. get both color ways.. prefer the black one though!

^^ Exactly... Looks like a good everyday watch.. Although looks more basic/casual, I'm hoping it comes with some cool Packaging to make up for the more basic look. Packaging for something like this could/should be pretty awesome.

Dang guys, I paid $100 for my Nixon watch lol

If we were getting a JC x Nixon collab I would pay a $100. But i think people are akeptical about the quality.

It's not about- how much we're willing to pay for a watch, it's this one, which looks to be made similarly (I REALLY hope I'm wrong) to a basic children's watch.. anyone know what I'm talking about?
I'm not insulting JC or anyone, I'm still going to buy it because it's JC, but it REALLY doesn't seem to be very quality.. also, JC is not a 'watch company'..
Plus, casual watches are typically cheaper than 'nice' watches..
Michael Kors, Movado, Rolex, Jacobs, hell even some G-shock's.. are all brands I'm sure a lot of us would't think twice to throw several bens at, but this one is kind of disappointing. .. and by that I mean, it's all pretty much SPECULATION at this point- no one even knows for sure how good they are, or if they are water resistant or anything yet..

Let's be real, we all buy several JC shirts.. @ $36+ a shirt, we're pretty easy to sell to.. If JC had a collab with a watch company, or if the pictures depicted them differently, we wouldn't even be discussing it, we'd just be too busy liquidating our assets. lol  

I saw on IG that the watches are $30 which I think is reasonable.. particularly because the package (appears) to just be a 'throw away' box.. not a nice watch box like your typical watches come with..
Most of that sounds like a douchebag kinda thing to say, but plz trust that's definitely not how I mean it, just read it with a reasoning type of tone if that helps.. or like a Narrator like Morgan Freeman's voice     
All that being said, I'm really excited to get one and see first hand what the quality is REALLY like, and I'd appreciate if anyone picks one up tomorrow let us know what your initial 'on wrist' thoughts are on the quality!    

I was pretty  stoked on the watch to begin with and when I saw the price today I'm more than happy with the price. I think that they're gonna be a better quality than people think. (At least I hope)  it will be interesting to see what people think of the watch before I get my hand on mine.
