Updating to iOS 7 BETA for Apple Devices Empty Updating to iOS 7 BETA for Apple Devices

Just posting this here for anyone that's interested.

Keep in mind that the firmware is still in the BETA stages so if your device bricks - do not blame me.

So to start off make sure that your device is on the most current firmware. Just plug it in to iTunes and check for updates. If you're rocking the most current firmware, then you're good to go on to the next step.

Scroll down to the bottom of this link:

Download the beta firmware at the bottom according to which device you have. If you're using a Verizon iPhone or device, download the CDMA file. If you're on T-Mobile or AT&T, download the GSM file.

While it downloads be sure to back up all of your information - contacts, messages, etc.

Once it's done downloading, open up iTunes and plug your device in. You'll be at the menu for your device. At this point you'll see a button that says "Check for Updates".

On MAC, hold the option key and click on that button.
On Windows, hold the shift key and click on that button.

Now find the file that you just downloaded and open it up. iTunes should now be starting the updating process.
