What is the rarest shirt?

Had a chat with RB about some of the rarest shirts around..... came to the conclusion that Day of Dead-serts colorway and Malfi where some of the most elusive. Anybody know any more shirts which where seriously limited? i.e with a tiny print number...

How limited are both of those shirts?

Doesn't the "rare-ness" of a shirt vary? I guess it depends on what people see as "rare" too, because the Batman and Joker etc are most sought after shirts, and they can be classified as rare as well. Maybe it's the amount of shirts printed?

Wasn't there only 10 Primary Colour shirts prtined? (that Scotty has - jealous ) Auctioned off on ebay

Yeah I guess 'rare' can mean a number of things. I was kinda thinking about print numbers....

The Men Women And Children collab was a very small run if I remember rightly?

Some shirts also have rare variants. For instance the 'Marcher' shirt, some of them the marcher has a gold tooth. Suitcase tour Bill Cosby and many others that some people never know about.

Realistically, the real rarest shirt is either :

The staff shirt.
The friends & family shirt.

As they're only given away if you're either of the above.

The staff shirt didn't occur to me... What's the friends and family shirt?

I think their were 3 color ways of day of dead? Last years Newbury comics/JC collab is pretty rare, for #'d shirt, only 100

i think classic cross bones is the rarest! i think arielle has a one of a kind day of the dead-ssert shirt!

My rarest shirt is the 1st Edition Blastoise.



Though it's probably not that special to many of you, the Buster XBone is the rarest shirt in my collection.

I'd imagine the shirts pulled off the shelf for copyright infringement (rubix cube, london underground etc)are pretty rare!

I'd say that samples such as the Xmas crew neck, or primary xbones are some of the rarest shirts available to the public being that there are usually only about 10 or 11 made and sold.

Check this one out, look pretty awesome, one of a kind prototype colourway. Would be an awesome addition if it was legit. Too bad it's worn though.

Agreed

Un-numbered shirts that were originally released as numbered. Think they only make a couple in each size for back ups.

Which do you prefer? I prefer the numbered, versus what we call sample shirts.

Any one of a kind shirt sounds pretty rare to me

No sir. Samples are more rare as there are only 1 in each size.. So roughly about 10-12 shirts/sweaters. And each staff member along with some JC family, and people who aren't staff anymore all have staff shirts...

Ah okay...that makes sense...Some of the samples are going pretty cheap on eBay though...Kinda surprised. I could have had the boston 6 year anniversary sample for retail...Turned it down because I already had one and wanted another collector to have it.
